Connecticut Immigrant Day is an annual event sponsored by the Connecticut Immigrant and Refugee Coalition, honoring local and statewide immigrants who have contributed to their community and professions.

The keynote speaker this year will be Daniel Ndamwizeye, a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide who came to America at the age of 15. Ndamwizeye is a motivational speaker, entrepreneur and a student at Southern Connecticut State University.

JFACT, The Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut, is a statewide advocacy organization, representing the 9 Jewish Federations, 4 Jewish Community Centers, 8 Jewish Family Services, and 3 Jewish nursing homes in Connecticut. JFACT is the government and community relations arm of the Jewish community and lobbies for legislation that is of interest to Connecticut's Jewish community.
